Intrusive data collection on every citizen….a side effect or the real goal of “education reform”?

The latest federal education initiatives have educators and policy-makers concentrating on charter schools, early learning, teacher and principal evaluations, and other weighty topics. However no one is focusing on one of the most disturbing issues looming over all of this….data privacy. All of these policies require massive data collection on every child from infancy, data on physical characteristics, psychological characteristics, health, growth—every aspect of the child.
