Parents, grandparents, and citizens in general have been flooding the internet, hearing rooms, school board meetings, and radio and TV shows with their horror stories about the Common Core State Standards. Recently the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) released a movie, Building the Machine, explaining the problems of Common Core. Common Core supporters such as the US Chamber of Commerce and the Fordham Foundation, with the help of Gates Foundation funding, are now scrambling to defend the Common Core.
